Tour the Tokaido post towns of Okitsu, Yui, and Kambara
Start from Okitsu Station. Turn right onto National Route 1 and head to Okitsu Zagyoso. Next, head east on the way you came. On the hill to your left you will see Seikenji Temple, one of the most famous temples on the Tokaido. After passing Okitsu Station, drive along the bypass and you will see Suruga Bay to your right and the Izu Peninsula ahead. On your left is Sattatsu Pass, famous as a difficult spot on the Tokaido. Mount Fuji will appear ahead of you beyond the Shinkotsugawa Bridge that spans the mouth of the Okitsugawa River. After merging with the Fuji-Yui Bypass, cross the Tokaido Main Line and head to the village of Yui and Kurazawa, which were post towns on the highway. After crossing the Yuigawa Bridge, you will see Yui Honjin Park on your left. Up ahead is Kambara, a post town that has flourished since the time of the Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido. Take your time to enjoy the charming townscape, including the former Igarashi Dental Clinic and the Shida Residence. Beyond that is the finish line at Shin-Kambara Station.
