Information on various discounts for municipal bicycle parking lots

Student Discount Information

Student rates for periodic (long-term) parking passes are available at municipal bicycle parking lots that charge a fee.
The fee is half the standard rate. (Note: The Kusanagi Station West Parking Lot in Shimizu Ward does not offer student rates, as its pricing is based on whether the parking space is covered by a roof.)
When applying for a student periodic pass, please attach a copy of your student ID to the application form.
(Please contact us if you attend an institution such as an elementary school that does not issue student IDs.)
Fee reduction or exemption systems are also available for holders of a Physical Disability Certificate or a Rehabilitation Certificate (certificate for the intellectually disabled). Please refer to the information below when applying.

* "Student" refers to individuals attending elementary schools, junior high schools, high schools, secondary education schools, universities, colleges of technology, schools for the blind, schools for the deaf, special needs schools, kindergartens, specialized training colleges (as defined in Article 124 of the School Education Act), miscellaneous schools (as defined in Article 134 of the same Act), or equivalent institutions.
* Student rates apply only to periodic parking passes; there are no student rates for casual (short-term) use.

Information on Fee Exemptions

Reductions or exemptions for periodic parking fees are available for individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Holders of a Physical Disability Certificate
• Holders of a Mental Disability Certificate
• Holders of a Rehabilitation Certificate (certificate for the intellectually disabled)
• Recipients of public assistance (welfare)

If you meet the above criteria and wish to apply for a fee reduction or exemption, please check the Shizuoka City website, as application procedures vary by parking lot.
