Development methods
There are three methods for creating bicycle lanes. The method of creation is determined by considering various conditions such as vehicle speed, traffic volume, and road width.
Bicycle lanes
- Physically separate bicycle and pedestrian lanes with curbs, etc.
- Bicycle lanes are colored blue
- Educational stickers are installed to indicate bicycle and pedestrian lanes

Bicycle-only lanes
- Bicycle lanes are colored blue
- Road markings for "bicycles only" and "arrow marks" are installed
- Signs indicating lanes are installed
- At large intersections, "arrow feather" road markings are used to make the space continuous
